Casablanca, founded in 2018 by French-Moroccan designer Charaf Tajer, captures a lifestyle and community inspired by Tajer’s Moroccan heritage and Parisian upbringing. The designs encapsulate a “vivacious colour palette” and “leisurewear-inspired silhouettes” that echo beauty and curiosity. Casablanca the city is where Tajer’s story began and the brand is his personal vision; a reflection of his point of view on the world.

"Art is always a message of bringing people together."

Prior to forming Casablanca, Tajer co-founded Pigalle, Le Pompon, and acted as a consultant for the late Virgil Abloh. Tajer credits Pigalle for “learning about how to create a brand, the fashion business and how cultural experiences can build a community.” Architecture, nature, travel, and music act as channels of influence to the center of Tajer’s creative vision. Tajer weaves architecture and nature in the prints, his on-the-go lifestyle, and creative emotions from music into Casablanca’s DNA.
